Yes, I really do talk like that sometimes - how embarrassing to admit!  Anyway, I just finished reading over the 27K+ words that I wrote last November for NaNoWriMo  - whew!  Some of it was really awful but some parts showed promise.  Yes, I know this is probably one of the most unprofessional ways to write a novel but it is so much fun!  I may not be looking forward to November 4th but I'm definitely excited about the first!

I decided to get my kids in on the fun.  So, between now and the first my 9 and 10 year olds are coming up with their own story idea and main characters.  It was getting pretty silly just hearing their ideas.  I hope they enjoy it as much as I do.
