Veterans Day 2005

Friday, 11 November 2005 13:24 by Blair
November often has us pondering all that we have to be thankful for.  Today is ear-marked to thank those who have and do serve in our armed forces.  In our family alone (Both Erik and my side) we have almost all branches of the service represented.  Of course, we're rather partial to the Air Force; but are very proud of our friends and relatives who took an oath to serve and defend our great nation.

Most civilians don't know what military life is like and some even take our soldiers (both on the battle field and off) for granted.  While you're going over your "thankfulness" list this month, consider this great country, the freedoms we have and the men and women defending those liberties. Thank you to each and every one of you; past, present and future.
