10 years ago:
*I was preparing to leave for a cruise with my hubby
*we were going on the cruise as a celebration of finally getting stationed together
*I was in the United States Air Force
*where I was a Communications/Computer Systems Analyst
*we were discussing trying for our first baby (who was born and died in 1996)
*I was in the best shape of my life – abs of steel baby!
*had not even celebrated our first wedding anniversary.
5 years ago:
*I had lost just over 100lbs
*which allowed me to fit back in my wedding gown (which I thought was totally cool)
*had delivered 3 children
*and moved four more times since five years before
*became a SAHM at the end of 1996 prior to the loss of my first child.
*was wanting another baby (who arrived a year later)
*discovered grey but glad it wasn’t in my teens like my dad
1 year ago:
*planned to be back at my goal weight by now – but I’m not
*in the middle of our third year of homeschooling
*became an aunt for the ninth time
*turned 30
*my baby turned one
Yesterday:
*watched the superbowl
*ate way too much while watching the super bowl
*worked on one of my quilt squares during the super bowl
*for those wondering – we go to church on Saturday nights
