If you've never been a Geocacher and sent a Travel Bug out on a mission, you may not appreciate the excitement of what I am about to post.  On February 5, 2005 our very own Sheriff Woody, with his trusty steed, Bullseye, set out on a mission.  Yesterday, August 28, 2005, with the help of numerous Geocachers, he traveled 1585 miles (as the crow flies) to reach his destination.  We received word that he reached his birthplace, Pixar Studios in Emeryville, California!  The kind cachers who took his photo at the front gates have already sent the team on their way back to us.  It will likely take months for him to get home but we're excited that he made it!  Very few travel bugs make it to their destinations.  A huge "thank you" to all the cachers who made Woody's journey possible.  You can read more about his travels on the his geocaching website.
