It's a quote from the Kenny Bania from the tv series Seinfeld. Somehow, it doesn't seem so funny to me right now. I'm feeling quite terrible and have decided that after suffering through yesterday, we're taking today as a “sick day” from lessons. The kids don't seem to mind of course. It's supposed to rain and that would match my mood perfectly if it did.
Why is it that when it rains while you're sick, it makes you feel better somehow? Is it because it feels like the weather is comiserating with you? Perhaps it's because you can look outside and not feel like you're missing much...you couldn't go out anyway right? Whatever it is, I hope it pours....no, I hope it's a full fledge thunderstorm...maybe even where the electricity goes out for a couple of hours.
I wanted to say “thank you” to for her kind words the other day....so far no one else is ill but Erik and J(2) had this about a week or so ago (maybe it was two weeks...gosh, time flies). Well, I have one more post to put out here and then I've got to go lay down on the sofa or something....my head is spinning.
