I would love to say I've been on track getting out of bed at 5am since my “day 11” post, but that would be a complete lie lol. I have woken and gotten up long enough to shut off the alarm but I haven't stayed out of the bed. Sooooo, tomorrow will be Day #12 instead of day #17.
I'm considering changing my weekend wake time to 6am instead of 5am. In basic training we had 5am reveille during the “training week” and 6am reveille on “off days” (like weekends and holidays). Of course in basic you are never truly “off” but those days didn't count towards your training time. The problem, I think I'll have to reprogram my alarm every Friday and Sunday - not sure I'll be able to remember to do that. Right now, the alarm resets itself every night. Might need to haul out the instructions and see if it has a second alarm setting or something (that would be cool).
I need to finish 30 days of early rising. If I miss too many more mornings I'll need to start over my count - eeeekkkk! I know it's already becoming somewhat of a habit because I still wake just before the alarm sounds each morning. If I'm not careful I'll be back to sleeping through it. Operation “Early Riser” is back on!
