Is November almost over?  It can't be, can it?  Wow.

Thanksgiving is but a memory now.  I had a long post written up about everything we've been up to the past several days but when I read back over it I thought, “hmm, that sounds rather negative”.  So, I've deleted it.

It's Monday - typically my least favorite day of the week.  I tried to play “the glad game” about it being Monday and at first could only come up with Polyanna's response that it will be six whole days before it comes around again.  At least that's something right lol.  So then I asked myself what it was about Monday I didn't like:

• Weekends leave the house messier than usual and Monday means more cleaning
• Getting the kids back in the swing of doing lessons after two days off
• Erik going back to work

Ok, so it's only three things.  I really thought there would be more too.  So, then I set out to think of three positives to those three negatives:

• I have a home to clean
• The freedom to educate our kids how we see fit
• Erik has a job

Funny how a change in perspective can help change the attitude.
