2005 has ended and while I had “good intentions” at the start of last year, I lost momentum about mid-year on most of my goals.  I think 2005 was the first year I’ve actually written down and then kept track of where I was resolution/goal wise.  Here’s my list from last year:

2005 Goals

Weightloss – lose 79.6 lbs

Ä Did not meet.  Actually ended the year weighing MORE - ACK.

Geocaching – hit 350 finds this year, which means we’ll need to average 3.73 finds a week :o)

Ä Did not meet.  250 finds to date (found 94 in 2005).

Writing – write a book and send it to a publisher

ü Yes, finished 2 picture book MS and mailed one.  Currently have over 70K words for a YA novel as well (began in 2005)

Ä Did not meet.  Family Album through 2001 & Christmas Greetings album through 2004.

ü Completed.  Read 15 and finished 2 began in 2004 (for 17 total)

Journal – locate my old written journal entries and convert them to electronic form (this could be time consuming)

Ä Did not even begin.

Ok, so obviously I didn’t even get close to completing all of my goals for 2005.  This year I plan to use a better tracking system so that I can hopefully be more organized in 2006.  As you’ll notice I’m continuing on with several goals.  I’m working up my plan of attack and looking forward to making this year count.

2006 Goals

Water - Aim for between one half gallon and a gallon each day (between 23,360 and 46,720 ounces total)
