Looking Back...Looking Front

I would LOVE to be able to report the nitty gritty details of last year's goals.  Unfortunately, I stopped keeping track of much about mid year.  I've decided that I don't want to track the "tedious" any longer....like ounces of water and exercise days for example.  Do I really want to waste my time writing down every ounce of water I drink per day?  Uh, No.  I'm just not in the mood to enter numbers into spreadsheets for the sole purpose of saying, "hey, look at all the water I drank last year!"  No, I'm done with that.

I mentioned last year that every year has a "theme".  Usually it's a theme that I haven't chosen but it has a theme nonetheless.  I've been considering what this year's theme was and I think it was "Change".  Changes in locations, changes in belief systems, changes in priorities, changes in finances...etc.  Things that seemed soooo important even a year ago seem ridiculously unimportant to me now.  I'm the mother and teacher to four small kids.  I'm the wife of an amazing man.  I've asked myself lately if I am doing those jobs to the best of my ability...and I'm afraid the answer is "no".  How on earth can I expect God to give me further responsibility (or success) when I'm not doing my best where He's placed me already?  This question greatly influenced the list you'll find below.

Some of the goals I'm setting for myself can't really be tracked in a tangible way.  That frustrates this "list keeper" like you would not believe.  At the same time, I need mostly goals that will remind me of what's really important and a few that can be "tracked".  So,  it's time for that "list" now:
