Life in a hotel room affords many opportunities for learning.  I plan to share a few we've learned over the last two weeks:

#1  If you find a small puddle in front of the dishwasher, don't automatically assume one of the kids spilled a drink.  It could be a leaking dishwasher.  If it is, the puddle will continue to grow and make your whole room smell funny even after they've come, replaced the dishwasher and attempted to dry the carpet.  Also, it isn't fun to get up in the middle of the night for a glass of water and step in said puddle in your socks.
