This morning before school, the kids thought it would be fun to dress up like super heroes. Three of them barely looked different from "normal" dress but what they did to my toddler was a photo opportunity I'm glad I took advantage of. Adorned with her brother's baseball socks, a "Build-a-Bear" mask and her "blankie", she's transformed into "Super J"! While the others were doing super hero moves, she did well to keep up.
It's moments like these that make being home with the kids worth it. School was delayed for a bit this morning while m
y "Fantastic Four" saved the living room from utter destruction (cleaned up). L did his skate moves off the furniture, K pranced about, A did her little "hiyahs" and J, she was just trying to keep her "costume" on while she ran from one action point to the next. This bunch is a hoot to watch. Laughter must really be the best medicine... I know I'm feeling much better than I was.
Do they really have to grow up God?
These days are so special.....sigh.
Of course when J does grow up, I'm sure she'll grumble about me having posted pictures of her diapered, super hero self on the internet.
