My allergies are running slap over me. I could not tell you what I'm allergic to, just that every year around this time I am tortured. Today though, I have the added discomfort of hives....yes, hives. Why? Who knows. Evidently itchy eyes and nose, fluid in my ears, headaches and sinus pressure aren't enough lol.
Yesterday Erik stayed home from work because I felt bad. I crashed mid afternoon and slept for a few hours. I read an article a while back about how allergies can affect your “mood” and I must agree with that - at least for me. The sun is shining and upon all appearances we're having what most would classify as “beautiful weather”. It's hard to enjoy though when your head is pounding.
Sooo, you take allergy meds and you trade one set of issues for another. They make me sleepy and even more irritable. How about we tack on some stress and a lousy weigh in for good measure - yeah, not having a good day.
