April was pretty much a “wash” as far as some of my goals are concerned.  I’ve decided that although things are certainly not “settled” around here, I need to make some time for me.  So, I’m going back to charting my goals as best I can in the midst of it all.

Also, I’m thinking I need to start tracking my food better.  My eating has been OUT of control lately.  I know it’s the chaos and it’s easier just to “grab whatever” than to stop and think about what I’m putting in my mouth.  So, I’m going to try adding a food related goal this week and see how that goes. I don’t plan to weigh again until the last Friday in May.  That should give me some time to get a bit of damage control under way :o)

I’ve also gotten away from “caring” for myself in other areas and I need to get back to the basics on that also (washing off make-up at night, going to bed at a decent hour, exercise, water, vitamins…etc).

As for school, we’re only a handful of lessons from completing the year and I’m thinking we may try to finish that up next week.  Our “transition” list is getting shorter and baseball/softball/preschool/AWANA will come to a close this month.  I’m kind of glad we’ll have fewer commitments come June but for now I’ve got to get through May.
