Yesterday a news report claimed that gas prices could hit $3/gallon by the end of the week due to Katrina.  This would equate to almost doubling at some stations.  While out a bit ago the Wal-mart stations were showing regular unleaded at $2.92.  Who will be first in the area to hit $3?  The station across from one of the Wal-mart ones is usually 10 cents more per gallon but today was 10 cents cheaper than Wal-mart....hmmmm.

Anyway, I can see how these dramatic rises will be taking a bite out of our budget.
