This is “Day 6” and I believe I'm past the worst of the caffeine withdrawals. Whew, that's some nasty stuff! I have already begun to notice that I seem to have more energy than I did on caffeine. Or maybe it's more consistent energy - none of this up and down sort of thing.
I'm also sleeping better and with the exception of this morning (late night last night) I've been waking feeling better than I have in a while. It's been gradual but definitely more and more noticeable each day. The headaches too have been becoming less and less painful and so far today I don't really have one.
One thing I hadn't thought would be difficult is having to check the label on all beverages for the word “caffeine”. I never really paid much attention to it before unless I was picking drinks for the kids (we don't let them have the stuff).
Now, to tackle my addiction to sugar!! ACK!!
