Ok, so I wrote about getting off caffeine back in July. I was doing so good not having any and feeling pretty darn good too. Then, with all of the “early rising”, Erik started brewing coffee again in the mornings. Mmmmm, it smelled so good. I thought a small cup in the morning wouldn't hurt. I think I thought wrong.
I've recently realized that my terrible morning headaches started again after I began having that morning coffee. We're talking I had it maybe 3-4 mornings in a row and BAM! hooked. I had one small cup each time. The headaches have been much worse since I stopped having coffee a couple of days ago. I know we're dealing with a bug at the house (kids sick) but I'm fairly certain the caffeine hasn't helped me any (my lovely seasonal allergies aren't helping either lol).
It was six days before I started feeling better after getting off caffeine the last time. Hopefully it won't take as long this time since I was at only a-cup-a-day habit when I caught it. I guess I need to be more careful. It's really not worth it. I'm planning to resume my “early riser” mission in the morning. Praying for no more headaches!
