I did rise this morning at 5am and stayed up for about 30-40 minutes.  During that time I realized that I just could not stay up.  My body was shouting “YOU CANNOT DO THIS TODAY!”

I know I haven't gotten enough sleep over the last 8 days but I thought my body would adjust and I'd both be falling asleep earlier and begin to feel better with the shift at some point.  I probably will, but today I feel like I've taken a step backwards.  I laid down and was asleep almost instantly.  When I woke about an hour and a half later I felt somewhat better.  I may have a bug though now that I'm assessing the fact that I still don't feel like “myself”.

I must press on though.  Today is a busy day and won't wait around for me to rest up.
