"There have been quite a variety of topics in this Carnival, but so very few are as important as this one. The Beauty of Forgiveness is amazing. Whether we look at it from the perspective of forgiving others, or from being the one who needs to be forgiven, this is a subject we all must face." |

Walk with me and peer through a dusty frame into the portrait of a woman God is growing in a mighty way. Our sister writes of her struggle to forgive someone closer than any other relationship on earth...her husband. |

The Beauty of Forgiveness |

"God used a negative friend to teach me about the beauty of forgiveness." Most women will relate to Ashley's story about her friend Tina. I hope you'll read it and let the Lord show you how healing can come through forgiveness. |

The Beauty of Forgiveness |

"It's taken me decades to realize that unforgiveness truly grieves the heart of God. We may not fully comprehend the magnitude of His mercy, but this I know--He hung on a cross for me. What is my faith worth if I can't demonstrate His mercy towards others?" |

Do not let the length of the participant list make you think this week's carnival is lacking in any way shape or form. The entries this week are deep, thoughtful and very well-done. We may not have quantity, but my friends we have quality! I am sure the evil one did not want this topic addressed because he has much ground to lose when we figure out the power we have through forgiveness. I would like to express my gratitude to these ladies for participating. I have already been blessed by what God led them to share. I believe every person who has ever lived has grappled with this topic. Even Christ on the cross begged for the Father to forgive those who persecuted Him. Do you think for a moment that was easy? I highly doubt it.
Please read every one of these entries and let the Lord reveal Himself to you through these lovely women. I've mentioned before that forgiveness is a subject I have had difficulty with over the years. So much so that God prompted me to do my own personal study of the topic. You can read that post series at In Relation To: Forgiveness. This is why I asked Sallie to let me host this week's carnival (thank you Sallie). I truly feel that we all could use a lesson in forgiveness at one time or another.
Thank you for joining us. As always, I am praying that each participant is blessed in a unique way in the coming week for their contribution. In addition, I am praying for all of you who will read what God has laid upon our hearts - may God enrich your lives for His ultimate glory.
